  • TX Cities Rank Highest for Families with Children

According to a story in the Dallas Morning News today, a “study, based on the most recent U.S. Census data, found that San Antonio has the highest percentage of gay couples raising children in the nation. Houston is fourth and the Fort Worth-Arlington area is fifth.”

The study goes on to suggest that this increase is part of the “gayby boom” experienced over the last twenty-five years.

Earlier in the month, I wrote to Ford Motor Company about their publicized decision to pull advertising from the gay media (apparently, a misrepresentation from the American Family Association). Here is the reply (note, they confirmed advertising would remain).

  • Dallas Voice Article

The Dallas Voice has run a story about my lawsuit with CCGLA. You can read that article here.

    Clarification:
In the article, the Collin Equality Foundation is referenced as the “charitable arm of the Collin County Gay and Lesbian Alliance” which is incorrect. The foundation was established to be the charitable arm of CCGLA, however after CCGLA became a 501(C)(4) organization – an Internal Revenue Service tax status – this was no longer a preferred option for the foundation, and was changed by the trustees on November 16 (the meeting referenced in the article).
